If you do not move your people forward so they can achieve greater results… then what are you managing?

Why Sales Performance Coaching For Leaders?

Winning B2B sales pursuits requires everyone to bring their ‘A-Game’, be honest about blind spots and maintain a winning mindset. Bringing out the best in each salesperson is critical to their individual success and therefore, your success as a leader.

A leadership style of coaching is proven to be a game-changer in sales.  However, mastering the skill of having coach-like conversations is not always comfortable or the natural ‘go-to’ mode.

Building a high-performance sales team is never easy and in this ever-increasing virtual world…..even harder. In our highly competitive fast-paced landscapes, it takes a great leader, strategist, listener, coach, and communicator to bring a team together and win.

Greatness in Sales sits at the intersection of Methodology, Mindset and Trust

The ROI of Sales Performance Coaching

While there have been many studies completed, one of the more compelling ones was the blind study completed by SAP in 2018.  The results were shared in an article in the June 2018 edition of the International Journal of Sales Transformation.  In this article, SAP revealed the impact of its blind study on its TRAIN-MANAGE-COACH strategy covering 7800 business development professionals globally.  The tenants of this program were Sales Methodology training and Metrics Driven Coaching. The results to the organization, or ‘Coaching Uplift’ was determined to be:

  • +27% Higher Revenue Generation
  • +26% Improvement in Opportunities Won
  • +6X Improvement in Deal Size
  • -25% Less Time to Close Deals
  • +38% in Products Pitched
  • +40% in Opportunities Created.

With results like these, the business case and ROI are clear.  It is, therefore,  little wonder why Sales Performance Coaching has become mainstream with the highest performing organizations. Through the courses and programming provided by Leap Dialogues, you will be able to tap into this opportunity to significantly grow your revenue line.  Additionally, you will enjoy:

  • Increased Employee Satisfaction and Retention.
  • Increased Employee Motivation and Engagement.
  • Increased Customer Satisfaction
  • Opportunity to share Best Practices among the team
  • Opportunity to reinforce the sales training principles you have already invested in.

The big question to ask yourself:  What if you could get 20% greater revenue from your ‘Middle 60%’?  How would that change your revenue and quota attainment objectives for your team?

Your coach will also work with you to develop your strategies and tools for staying in a positive growth mindset, advance your Coach Leadership style and create high-performing sales teams.

Pursuit Team Coaching:

When the stakes are high and the deal is particularly complex and competitive, that is when to engage a Pursuit Team Coach.   The Coach will work with the Pursuit Lead as their ally to identify and mitigate risks.  Sitting in on key meetings, the coach will help identify blind spots, test the pursuit strategy, ask powerful questions, review proposals, ensure ‘orals’ are thorough, effective, and tested for voice/tone.

Pricing is variable based on complexity and length of engagement.  Please call to discuss.

It’s very rare to find a coach that has a background in complex sales with complex companies that have complex people in them. Most sales performance coaches understand sales from a theory perspective….. but having a coach that has lived this life in the trenches is priceless. What was great about our coaching relationship is that it went beyond technique to the psychology of sales.
